Now that THAT'S over with...

YAY! Finally, the Moot Court competition is complete and Dave and Sarah can relax a little bit!

I was very glad to see their smiling faces when they returned from their oral arguments! (Oops... sorry about that... I didn't mean to stick out my tongue!)

I had so much fun going to pick out pumpkins with Sarah and our friend Mallory. I even met a new friend. We were the same age. I forget her name, but she was telling me the best secret!

A Rainy Race for the Cure

So sorry for not writing sooner! This has been a looong week of studying for Sarah and Dave. It has also been a rainy week and it was a rainy Saturday for this year's Race for the Cure. Here are some team pictures of team UK LAW. Sarah and Dave designed the shirts. Don't they look cool? I was sad that I didn't get one, but at least I did get a number! (However, I did not race. I do not think that running in the rain is fun at all!)

September Saturday in the Park...

Sarah and I had so much fun sitting under this beautiful tree people watching. Sometimes little kids would come up to say hi to me and I would get so excited that I would jump up and immediately give them a hug and a kiss. One little girl accidentally tipped over ... no worries... she thought it was funny and I just gave her even more kisses.

and I'm home alone. G'ma Pam gave her to me when I was just a little puppy myself.

Happy Birthday, Dave!

Sarah and I threw Dave the best birthday party tonight... we had lots of fun. Balloons are one of the coolest things ever, don't you think?

Dave had steak... a sirloin and fillet ... It smelled so good and he didn't share at all. If it wasn't his birthday I would be mad.

Sarah got Dave this book as one of his gifts. He liked it. I'm not sure why... it looked pretty boring to me.

Dave's birthday cake was very special. Sarah surprised him with one of his favorite desserts... the "Chocolate Melting Cake". Dave ordered this 5 of the 7 nights on the cruise. She got the exact Carnival recipe from online... Dave was surprised and happy!

Big birthday parties make me tired... Dave got his belly really full... He was tired, too!

Pam showed Dave a cute outfit that Aunt Paula made him when he was just a puppy. He must have grown as quickly as I did... it doesn't fit anymore.

This is Hope she is just so cute and sweet. I was so glad that she came to visit me... have fun at school, Hope! Go Spartans!

Smores by the Campfire!

Doug, Dave, and John built this campfire. We had a lot of fun sitting by it and making smores. I was sad that they didn't give me any, but I hear that it is for my own good. Chocolate is scary, supposively... Though it seems to smell really good and Sarah eats a lot of it. Big mystery to me.

Dave kept me away from the fire. I didn't mean to get too close... I'm just curious!

Kalamazoo, MI at last!

I'm loving Kalamazoo! I'm getting lots of rest (Dave is too!). I'm also loving Pam and John's beautiful back yard. When I first got here, Dave threw a stick in the pond and I ran after it! I didn't understand what the pond was and quickly became a drowned rat! Needless to say, the stick was not worth it. What a mean trick! I've been watching birds from the deck. I wish I could stay forever!

Greasy Creek Weekend Trip.

Beautiful weather and mountain views! I loved playing in the yard without my leash. I like to run and run and run... especially when I'm being chased! I also like to play fetch with the big sticks I find!

I discovered a new favorite food! WATERMELON!

Christian let his pet turtle go on Sunday so that it could find its winter home. I got to play with him a little bit before he ran off. He did not like me very much... I would sniff him and he would just turn and go the other way! I thought his shell was pretty cool!

Christian and Papa Billiter put a mark on his turtle's back so that they would be able to identify him next summer! I hope he comes back!
