My First Tailgate! Go Big Blue!

Sarah and I went to a UK tailgate last weekend and our friend just sent us this picture. I wasn't sure about tailgating at first, but when I realized I could go from tent to tent and get lots of attention and love, I decided that it was just the place for me! Everyone thought I was sooo cute. I can't wait for my next tailgate. Maybe I'll even break out a UK jersey for my many fans. :o)

Hello Blog friends! Long time no see! Sarah's camera AND her iphone are out of commission at this time, so it makes it hard for me to keep you updated on my life. It has been one week since my surgery and I have made a full recovery. I have lots of energy and am feeling great. Halloween was so fun. I just loved being a lil' sweet pea! Thanks for picking that costume out for me. On Halloween day, Dave, Sarah and I went to Frankfort to visit Mom Kathryn (my Great-grandma) to help her with her trick-or-treaters. We had a big Mexican Fiesta dinner and then Dave carved a very SCARY face into the pumpkin that papa Stacy grew for us. (Sorry we didn't get a picture of that... but believe me... it was frightful!!!) We had lots of gomblins come to the door. I loved hearing that knock and ran really quick to see the kids in costume. My favorite was probably the "Pizza". She looked cute AND yummy! I also liked the little girl dressed up as Beauty from Beauty and the Beast because she said that I "looked like a cute GREEN BEAN!" haha What a wonderful way to spend a fun holiday with the ones I love. Feeling Better

Recovery is a process and I am feeling better today. My energy comes in spurts. I chase after treats and toys and then I am back on the couch. Thank you for sending me your well wishes. Hopefully I will be all ready for trick or treat this weekend as I am very excited about wearing the costume you guys chose for me.

My big (sleepy) day!

I woke up really early today. I was confused because it was still dark, but I was happy to be going on an adventure (usually Monday's aren't as exciting). We went to the animal hospital and I was greeted by my friends. They are so nice and think my fur is so soft. Sarah didn't get to tell me goodbye because I was having so much fun. I think that made her sad. They took me into the back and suddenly I got really sleepy. I think I slept a long time! Soon after I woke up, Sarah and Dave were there to pick me up. A few things were different... I had received a pedicure and there was a little scratch on my belly. I'm still a little groggy, I guess from sleeping so much... and I haven't moved from the couch, which is okay by me. I have my special blanket and my puppy to keep me warm. Well... thats all... I can barely keep my eyes open. Thank you for all your well wishes. Thank you Libby for sending me a snuggle. Perhaps we can have a playdate soon. Also, puppy kisses to Christian who I hear is also on the couch these days with the flu :o( Feel better soon.

Sunny sunshine day!

The sun is out today and I am happy. Just got back from a very long
walk (1.5 hour). It was much needed exercise for everyone involved.
Now I'm here at Dave's on the couch enjoying the warm sun on my back.
Cold temperatures here in Lexington and we're all wondering where fall
has gone. I hope you are warm and happy where you are this morning.

I give up... I'm going to bed!

It's late and ppl are still up working on their trial tomorrow. I
think that's silly... When sleepy time calls, I answer.

Here are my trial lawyers after their competiton.... I think they're so happy because now they get to spend more time with me. :o) At least until finals....

her, though I'm not sure exactly what to do. Most of the time I just

My Own Race for the Cure

This morning, Sarah and Dave took me to run in my own Race for the Cure, a 2K for "K9s" in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Here we are in the park (check out the cool pink bandana they gave me) where we thought the race was going to take place. It was nice and green... little did we know, we were only STARTING in the park. The race was along the parade route which equaled lots of cheerleaders and distractions. I still did my best to run really hard. My competition was much bigger than me, but I still ended up placing 4th! Sarah and Dave were very proud. Below are pictures from the start and finish line.

I was just exhausted after the race! Dave was the best running partner :o)

An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away!

Well... I love to eat apples, but today I had to go to the doctor to get my heart worm and flea medicine. We also talked to the doctor about the special surgery I am having this month. I'll be giving you more info later, but it is scheduled for October 26th. I'm nervous so we'll not talk about it!

I met this friend in the waiting room. His name is Wally... he was rescued from Wal-mart and is looking for a new home. I really hope he finds one because he seems like a cool guy!

I don't look comfortable, but the exam was not that bad. She gave me two treats afterwards and then I was on my way!

Now that THAT'S over with...

YAY! Finally, the Moot Court competition is complete and Dave and Sarah can relax a little bit!

I was very glad to see their smiling faces when they returned from their oral arguments! (Oops... sorry about that... I didn't mean to stick out my tongue!)

Pumpkins Please!

I had so much fun going to pick out pumpkins with Sarah and our friend Mallory. I even met a new friend. We were the same age. I forget her name, but she was telling me the best secret!

A Rainy Race for the Cure

So sorry for not writing sooner! This has been a looong week of studying for Sarah and Dave. It has also been a rainy week and it was a rainy Saturday for this year's Race for the Cure. Here are some team pictures of team UK LAW. Sarah and Dave designed the shirts. Don't they look cool? I was sad that I didn't get one, but at least I did get a number! (However, I did not race. I do not think that running in the rain is fun at all!)

September Saturday in the Park...

Sarah and I had so much fun sitting under this beautiful tree people watching. Sometimes little kids would come up to say hi to me and I would get so excited that I would jump up and immediately give them a hug and a kiss. One little girl accidentally tipped over ... no worries... she thought it was funny and I just gave her even more kisses.
